Summerschool Den Haag and Balletschool Mabel Alter are happy to motivate young dancers. Through several friendly gestures such as the Student by Invitation programme - director Mirella Simoncini wishes to support young dancers taking the plunge into a career.

INSPIRATION PROJECT
Suitable for young dancers that have graduated from a professional dance institution and
might use the project as an apprenticeship. The duration of the project is two months;
September and October. Previousely the Project has been performing repertory from:
Coppelia, Giselle, Le Corsaire and contemporary repertoire by: Keith-Derrick Randolph (Scapino Ballet)
and Maurice Causey (Nederlands Dans Theater).

STUDENT by INVITATION
Scholarschip - Student by Invitation
Student by Invitation is a friendly encouraging-action to motivate and support young professional students and dancers.
As a student by invitation they receive a scholarship for Balletschool Mabel Alter or for Summerschool Den Haag.
The programme offers a limited number of scholarships, the procedure is in general through an audition.
Surprise Scholarschip
Sometimes the school might offer a 'Surprise' Scholarship available to young (Pre)Professionals.
Students for a Surprise Scholarschip are typically selected when attending one of the balletclasses at Balletschool Mabel Alter
or during Sundayclass and sometimes by recommendation.
Financial need is not a factor in determining the recipients of these awards.
All scholarships are based on the student's performance and potential. Scholarships are awarded for limited periods of time,
there is no cash payment.

COACHING
In exceptional cases young talents might receive private coaching.
However the school has a wide variety of technique
classes from basic beginner up to professional level
therefor coaching will only be done by exception.
